Cookies & storage

Last updated: August 23, 2026

The short version

FeedWise sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. We do not track you across the internet. The app saves your horses in your browser's local storage so the app still works when you come back — that storage never leaves your device.

What we actually use

1. Local storage (the app)

The FeedWise app uses your browser's local storage — a small space your browser sets aside for a website. We use it to remember:

This is essential to the app working — without it, everything you enter would vanish the moment you navigated away. It is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

2. Cookies set by our host (Cloudflare)

Our website is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and running — for example, to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. These are security and performance cookies, not tracking cookies, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

3. Cookies set by Stripe (only if you subscribe)

If you click a subscribe button, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. That happens on Stripe's domain under Stripe's policies, not ours.

What we do not use

Why there is no cookie pop-up

Consent banners exist mainly for tracking and advertising cookies. FeedWise does not use any, and the storage we do use is strictly necessary for the app to function — so we have chosen to explain it clearly on this page instead of interrupting you with a pop-up.

How to clear it

You are always in control. To remove everything FeedWise has stored, clear your browser's site data or cookies for feed-wise.com. In most browsers this is under Settings → Privacy. Please note that this also deletes your saved horses, because that is the only place they exist.
